What this site does

WhoAmI (network.limited) is a network diagnostic tool. When you visit, it shows you information about your own internet connection — your IP address, approximate location, network provider, and browser characteristics.

Data we process

To display your network information, your IP address and HTTP request headers are processed on each request. This happens in-memory at Cloudflare's edge and is used solely to generate the page you see.

If you use the DNS Lookup, Reverse DNS, HTTP Headers Inspector, or WHOIS tools, the hostname or URL you enter is sent from your browser to this site's API, which then queries public services (dns.google, rdap.org) on your behalf. These queries do not include your IP address.

API keys: If you request a free API key, your email address is collected and stored persistently in Cloudflare KV (key-value storage) alongside your API key. This data is used solely to associate your key with a rate limit tier and to allow deletion on request. No other data is collected or linked to your email.

Cookies and tracking

Strictly necessary: Cloudflare may set operational cookies (such as __cf_bm) required to deliver the service securely. These cannot be disabled.

Advertising: This site serves ads via Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to show relevant ads based on your interests. You can opt out at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google will request your consent before setting any personalisation cookies.

This site does not set any analytics or tracking cookies of its own.

Data sharing

No personal data collected by this application is sold or rented. Cloudflare processes all traffic and stores API key data (including email addresses) as infrastructure per their privacy policy. Google may process data for advertising as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Your rights

For visitors who have not requested an API key, no personal data is stored by this application. If you have requested an API key, your email address is stored in association with that key. You may request deletion of your key and email at any time by contacting the site owner via the domain's WHOIS contact — include your email address and the request will be processed promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the site after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This policy covers network.limited only. It does not constitute legal advice.
